Kitty & Co took a difficult basement finish-out and turned the space into an attractive, comfortable environment. Ceilings were low, the only outside light was from ceiling level glass block windows, and the stairs came down the center of the space. Kitty recommended a palette of colors that enhance the limited natural light and look great with the LED ceiling fixtures. Her selections for floor coverings are both attractive and functional.
Because the bath would be both guest bath when entertaining and personal bath the rest of the time, we asked Kitty to develop an upscale look with designer plumbing and hardware, but with a modest budget. She accomplished both and our guests’ comments are usually in the “WOW” range. Kitty was timely in preparing her recommendations, flexible in working with our preferences, and patient in explaining the basis for her designs. Because of that we asked for further assistance with creating a color palette for the upstairs that opened and warmed the space.
We’re finally getting everything out of boxes and will be seeking her assistance with mixing existing decorative items with new items to create the “look and feel” we want for our home. Great to work with – highly recommend Kitty.
