Kitty is a wonderful, collaborative interior designer and I love working with her. I first hired Kitty in 2001 when we were building our custom home. She was involved with floor planning, paint, flooring, cabinetry. Her recommendations made a positive difference in how our home was done, as we had a difficult lot on which to build and therefore a limited footprint. She also provided a design concept with furniture, color scheme, fabrics, etc.
Over the years I contacted her for several other projects – usually once a year or so, and they encompassed such things as repainting, drapery design and coordination with seamstress, wall art layout, more furniture, bedding/bedskirts, furniture layout, accessories, etc.
Kitty is amazingly easy to work with. I have had experiences with two designers in the past where the designer forced ideas on me that I ultimately did not love. Kitty understands my design style and “gets” what I like in my coastal-style home. She is thoughtful, kind, collaborative and organized. She works around sentimental items that I have rather than turning her nose up at them. My home has Kitty’s stamp all over it. I have referred her to others and she will be my designer for life!
